How tall should a bedside lamp be?

With the lamp on the bedside table, the bottom of the shade should sit at about shoulder height when you are sitting up in bed: usually a lamp 45 to 60 centimetres tall on a standard table. Any taller and the globe shows.

Do you have touch bedside lamps?

Yes, in several sizes, with three or four brightness steps on the base. They take a dimmable globe; the product page says which one.
