Outdoor and exterior wall lights questions
How high should outdoor wall lights go?
About 1.7 to 1.8 metres to the centre of the fitting, so the light sits just above eye level and does not glare. Either side of a front door, or spaced 2.5 to 3 metres apart along a wall.
Can I fit outdoor wall lights myself?
No. Outdoor lights are hard-wired, which is licensed electrical work in Australia. Choose the fittings here and your electrician installs them.
